National Night Out for Victorville is scheduled for August 4th! Mark your calendars!

INCIDENT: NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

LOCATION: VICTORVILLE CITY HALL, 14343 CIVIC DR., VICTORVILLE

SUMMARY:
On August 4th, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. the Victorville Police Department will be hosting the 32nd Annual National Night Out (NNO), sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and Target Stores. The event will take place at Victorville City Hall, located at 14343 Civic Drive in the city of Victorville. National Night Out is a crime prevention program put on nationwide by law enforcement, incorporating the community Neighborhood Watch (NHW) groups and those interested in starting a Watch. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The event will have representatives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Search & Rescue, Off Highway Vehicle teams, Sgt.Burgess from the Sheriff's Rescue Dive team with a boat on display. The Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, Victorville Police Department, several departments from the city of Victorville including Public Works, Recreation, Environmental and Animal Control, the U.S. Army, Southwest Gas, High Desert Alarm, Victor Valley Animal Protective League, American Red Cross as well as other businesses in the area providing various safety information, tips, and products .
Come on out and meet McGruff the Crime Dog, have the kids make crafts from the Home Depot workshop, play games and win prizes! Please join us for some good food, music, shaved ice, as well as fun and fellowship with local residents in the community.
The focus will be on strengthening our City, one neighborhood at a time.

Kid’s crosswalk safety , bicycle safety and fingerprinting
Boxing demonstrations by Victorville Police & Fire Activities League
