GRANT COUNTY, Wash. (08JULY2015) -- A Grant County Sheriff’s detective is investigating the deaths of two men who attended the 2015 Paradiso Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater near George, Wash.
• Beau B. Brooks, 22 of Portland, Ore., died June 28 at Confluence Health-Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash. The detective has met with Brooks’ family and is interviewing Brooks’ friends who also attended Paradiso. The Chelan County Coroner will determine cause and manner of Brooks’ death.
• Vivek Pandher, 22 of Vancouver, B.C., died July 5 at Vancouver General Hospital. He had been found unresponsive at Paradiso, was hospitalized and was transferred to Vancouver on June 30. The detective will interview others who may have attended Paradiso with Pandher. The Vancouver Metro Coroner will determine cause and manner of Pandher’s death.
Three persons who fell ill at Paradiso were treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being transferred there from local hospitals. They have all been treated and released. Their names were not released to detectives.
