Damien Sharpley, of Victorville, was arrested for attempted murder after stabbing a victim multiple times

SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 4, 2015, at approximately 11:59 am, deputies from the Victorville Station responded to an assault at the intersection of 6th Street and C Street, in the city of Victorville. Deputies located a male victim bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
Deputies searched for the vicinity for witnesses, and contacted Damien Sharpley in the vicinity of the crime. Sharpley matched the suspect description, provided by witnesses. The victim identified Sharpley as his attacker.
The victim was taken by helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he received treatment for multiple stab wounds to his chest, back, and neck. Sharpley was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder.
