The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Investigation unit are releasing the name of the man killed in a gang-related shooting in the early hours of July 6, 2015 in southwest Santa Rosa.
The victim is Austin Sargent-Deselle, a 20 year old man from Santa Rosa. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will schedule an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Sargent-Deselle’s death.
This is still an open and active investigation. VCI Detectives are currently working the case. Details will be provided only when it does not interfere with the integrity of the investigation.
