At approximately 10:30 p.m. on July 4, 2015, police responded to the 300 Block of Dousman Street for a report of a stabbing which had just occurred. Police arrived to find a 20-year-old female with numerous stab wounds.The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Bystanders were able to detain the 22-year-old suspect until police arrived. A 41-year-old male who attempted to stop the attack received minor injuries and was also treated at a local hospital. The suspect is being held on charges related to the incident. No further information is available at this time as the incident is still under investigation.
