Railroad Quiet Zone Construction Starting
The contractor will be starting next week on street improvements to 3rd Street and Ben Davis Road related to the Sachse Railroad Quiet Zone. 3rd Street and Ben Davis will be closed at the railroad crossing while construction is completed. A detour route to 5th Street will be implemented. Please follow all traffic control signs. The roads may be closed up to 90 days. We will provide updates as the project moves forward.
2015 Sachse Street Maintenance Projects
Construction for the 2015 City of Sachse Street Maintenance projects will begin next week, starting July 7th. These projects are funded through the quarter-cent Street Maintenance Sales Tax approved by Sachse residents in 2013. The contractor will begin with the reconstruction of Big Valley Lane from Blackburn to Bonanza. Williford Road will also be re-constructed later this summer. The roads will remain open to traffic during construction, but it is recommended for thru traffic to seek alternate routes. Please follow all posted traffic control signs during the construction process.
