July 5th Parade Route and Road Closures... 
On Sunday, July 5th 2015 the City of Crystal Lake in conjunction with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Crystal Lake Lions Club, will host the annual Independence Day Parade. The parade will step off at 1pm from City Hall and travel south on Dole Ave. to Country Club Rd then east on Golf Rd where it will disperse at South Elementary School. The parade generally lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Road Closures are as follows:
*Woodstock St. will be closed between Walkup Ave and Marion Pkwy.
*Dole Ave will be closed between Woodstock St. and Lake Ave. (Including all streets that feed onto Dole Ave)
*There will be periodic closures of Route 14 at Dole Ave will occur as well. If there are breaks within the parade traffic will be allowed though but expect delays.
Suggested alternate route:
Route 176 to Main St and the reverse to get in and out of the Crystal Lake area.
