Employee of the Month

Mrs. Kelly Carter is selected as Employee of the Month for the month of July. Mrs. Carter is an Administrative Specialist assigned to Patrol Division and has 15 years of service with the Department.
During her career, Kelly has worked in Central Records and she served several months as a Patrol Officer. Kelly is described as having a pleasant attitude and her personality is always the same. She is always willing to help fellow employees and she will go out of her way to help others with their problems. She has a great sense of humor which helps to uplift anyone around her.
Kelly was fortunate enough to work at JPD for several years with her father, Steve Gregory, who worked in the Criminal Investigation Division before he retired. She is very family-oriented. She is a very loving mother to her daughter, Kinslee. Family is very important to her and she proudly tells everyone that her grandmother is the backbone of the family.
Kelly makes delicious chess squares that fellow co-workers really enjoy. She is strongly committed to her faith. Kelly is a remarkable specimen of a female and she loves to workout. It is not uncommon for Kelly to get out of bed at 3am or 4am daily in order to get to the gym for her daily workout.
