Warrant Arrest
Location: Hope Drive and Lick Mill Boulevard
An officer observed a vehicle traveling with an inoperable rear left brake light. The officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Hope Drive and Lick Mill Boulevard. A Records check of the suspect revealed he had a suspended driver’s license and a misdemeanor warrant. The suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with a suspended license and was issued a Notice to Appear for the misdemeanor warrant. He was released at the scene. His vehicle was left parked in a legal parking space on Hope Drive.

Drunk in Public
Location: 900 Block of El Camino Real
An officer was dispatched to the 900 block of El Camino Real on the report of an intoxicated male subject at Jack in the Box. The subject displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was unable to care for himself. A Records check revealed the subject had a $5,000 warrant for his arrest in Lassen County. He was arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Parole Violation
Location: Great America Parkway and Mission College Boulevard
An officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying false registration tabs. The male driver fled in the vehicle for a short distance before losing control of the vehicle and fleeing on foot. The suspect threw down a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe and hopped a cyclone fence that bordered California’s Great America Theme Park. Within minutes, Great America security had detained the suspect.
A Records check revealed the suspect was driving with a suspended license and was on parole. He displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Residential Burglary
Location: 1800 Block of Agnew Road
An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of Agnew Road on the report of a burglary. The victim left the front door of the residence unlocked in anticipation of a visit from a friend. The victim walked out of a bedroom and into the living room to find a male subject in the residence. A purse was stolen from the living room and the subject remains at large.

NOTE: A Patrol team conducted a Pedestrian Enforcement Crosswalk Operation on El Camino Real at Alpine Avenue. The team issued 31 citations for a multitude of right of way violations. Funding for this operation was provided via a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.

Residential Burglary
Location: 1700 Block of Beech Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Beech Street on the report of a burglary. Between 0700 hours and 1730 hours, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked window at the rear of the house. The suspect stole approximately $565.00 worth of the victim's property. The suspect is unidentified and remains at large.

Petty Theft
Location: 2700 Block of Park Avenue
An unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim's vehicle on the 2700 block of Park Avenue. The suspect(s) stole multiple items, valued at approximately $570.00. The suspect is unidentified and remains at large.

Drug Arrest
Location: 2000 Block of Scott Boulevard
Officers stopped a vehicle with three suspects inside for vehicle code violations on the 2000 block of Scott Boulevard. Subject #1 displayed objective symptoms of stimulant use. A Records check revealed he was on active probation. A search pursuant to his arrest revealed a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to distribute/sell.
Subject #2 was under the influence of a controlled substance and shared possession of the controlled substance with Subject #1. She was arrested. A Records check revealed Subject #3 was on active probation. He was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested. All three suspects were booked into County Jail.
