A Mandatory Evacuation remains in effect for the Cebada Canyon area.

A Mandatory Evacuation remains in effect for the Cebada Canyon area.

Mandatory Evacuations have been reduced to an Evacuation Warning for residents on Tularosa Road and Gypsy Canyon Road. There is also an Evacuation Warning for residents living in the “lower track” of the Mission Hills area from Via Lato to Calle Lindero.
Residents in the Mandatory Evacuation area are ordered to leave the area. Residents who are in an Evacuation Warning area can stay in their homes but should be prepared to leave quickly if instructed.
Cebada Canyon at SR 246 is closed to all traffic at this time.
The American Red Cross has set up an Evacuation Shelter at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene located at 500 East North Avenue in Lompoc.
Animal services is requesting owners needing assistance with small animals to drop them off at the Lompoc Animal Shelter at 1501 West Central and owners needing assistance with large animals to call the Santa Barbara County Animal Services emergency hotline at 806-681-4332.
The Sheriff’s Office will have a heavy law enforcement presence around the fire area.
