Robbery Suspects Arrested

On June 28, 2015 at approximately 12:37 am, Metro Patrol deputies responded to the 1500 block of West Drive after receiving a report of an armed robbery. The victim was beaten by the suspects and threatened with a sawed-off shotgun.

 During the investigation, deputies identified the suspects as Jose Reyes (25 years old) and Davontae English (18 years old). Metro Patrol deputies, with assistance from a Sheriff's K-9, went to an apartment located in the 1800 block of Quincy Street and located Reyes and English. Both individuals were taken into custody. A subsequent search resulted in the sawed-off shotgun being located, and the victim's stolen property being located. Reyes was arrested for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy. English was arrested for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, and possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Both men were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
