Matthew Alva of Highland arrested for committing Lewd Acts with children.

SUSPECT: Matthew Alva, 21, resident of Highland
VICTIM(S): Confidential – two female juveniles
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 25, 2015, Central Station Detectives were contacted regarding lewd acts committed against two young girls. Detectives began investigating and determined that the suspect, identified as Matthew Alva, has lived with on occasion, and cared for the two juvenile victims over the past five years. Since 2010, both victims have been sexually assaulted by Alva multiple times. These crimes occurred while the victims were in the Cities of San Bernardino, Rialto and most recently in Muscoy.
On Friday, June 26, 2015, Detectives from Sheriffs Central Station contacted Alva. Alva was interviewed at Central Station and later arrested. He was booked for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child and booked at Sheriffs Central Detention Center. Bail was set at $250,000. and Alva is expected to be arraigned in San Bernardino Superior Court on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
