Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help with information about a burglary in Ninole along the Hāmākua Coast.

At 6 p.m. on June 13, police responded to a report of a burglary on the 22-1000 block of Route 19 that occurred sometime between June 8 and June 13.

Police learned that numerous items were removed from the house and property, including a 1999 Chevy Tahoe, two Suzuki ATVs, a Hustler zero turn mower, an Outback solar system, a flat screen TV, a water pump, a Honda generator and a poison pump. The total value of the stolen items has yet to be determined.

Police ask anyone with any information about this incident, the identity of any suspects or the location of any of the stolen items to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Stanley Kaina at 962-2120 or email Sergeant Greg Yamada at [email protected].

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
