Roadwork over next week could impact traffic
Motorists are advised of projects that could have an effect on traffic around Danville. These projects include:
• Removal of a fallen tree on Diablo Road between Alameda Diablo and Avenida Nueva. Work is set to begin on Friday June 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. If not completed by end of day Friday work could continue on Monday, June 29, 2015. No lane closures are scheduled, but drivers should use caution through the area.
• Preliminary work on the slope repair set for Front Street north of Diablo Road will occur Friday, June 26, 2015 and Monday June 29, 2015. Work will occur from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Front Street will be one lane only (with traffic control) between Diablo Road and Rose Avenue. No left turn from eastbound Diablo Road to northbound Front Street.
• Monday, June 29, 2015 – Thursday, July 2, 2015 paving work is scheduled on Camino Tassajara from Diablo Road – Old Orchard Road. One lane will be open, with traffic control on scene. Work each day will go from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Motorists are asked to use caution through the work areas.
