On June 23rd, 2015 at approximately 5:40 PM the Burlington Police were called to the Rotary Mart located on Shelburne St for a report of an armed robbery. Responding officers learned that a white male suspect entered the store and brandished a small handgun demanding cash from the register.
The suspect was described as being approximately 5’05” tall, thin build, dark hair, wearing a dark hoodie, dark farmed sunglasses, with a dark colored bandana covering the lower portion of his face. No one was injured during this incident and the suspect fled the store on foot, northbound, with an undetermined amount of cash. Investigators are examining video footage and physical evidence collected from the scene.
The Burlington Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect captured in the video footage from the Rotary Mart. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Burlington Police at (802) 658-2700.
