The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for our area through 4PM, as a cold front tracks through the region. Heavy rain showers and thunderstorms are likely. The storms could be severe, with damaging winds, heavy rain, large hail, and frequent lightning. There is also the possibility that an isolated tornado may occur with this storm.

Do your best to remain indoors during any heavy storm activity. Do not drive into areas of standing water covering the roads. Watch for falling trees and power lines. Treat all power lines as live. Stay away from them and contact the North Castle Police Department.
