Putnam County Couple Arrested on Drug Charges

Putnam County- On Thursday evening June 18 at 5:17, Indiana State Police Troopers and Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 1410 East US 40 for a reported domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and were greeted by 46-year-old Alina M. Izaguirre. Izaguirre led officers to believe that a loud phone argument had been the issue and no one else was in the home. As officers continued to investigate, they noticed what appeared to be marijuana smoking pipes on a nearby table and 39-year-old Bryan L. Polster hiding in a bedroom. Further investigation revealed multiple items of paraphernalia associated with both marijuana and methamphetamine, additional marijuana, small amounts of methamphetamine, syringes, an electronic scale, small baggies and miscellaneous other items associated with controlled substances throughout the home. Officers also located a suspected marijuana plant growing on the porch. Both were taken into custody and incarcerated in the Putnam County.

Drugs seized were approximately one gram of Methamphetamine, approximately 49 grams of Marijuana, and one Marijuana plant.
