...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...ADAMS...CUMBERLAND...DAUPHIN... FRANKLIN...LANCASTER...LEBANON...PERRY...SCHUYLKILL AND YORK.

* FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM BILL IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WATCH AREA. URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS POSSIBLE. LARGER STREAMS AND RIVERS SHOULD REMAIN WITHIN THEIR BANKS.

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING ON SMALL STREAMS...CREEKS...POOR DRAINAGE...URBAN AND LOW-LYING AREAS BASED ON CURRENT FORECASTS. YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
