Illinois Championship Triathlon Road Closures on Sunday, June 21 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 
The second annual Illinois Championship Triathlon will be Sunday, June 21 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The course will be at, and in the vicinity of, Three Oaks Recreation Area 11:00 am. Participants will swim through the crystal clear waters of the big lake at Three Oaks Recreation Area, and make their way around the islands to finish the first leg of the event. Next, triathletes head-out on their bikes for the road course, and finish back at the park to run the trails. Olympic and sprint triathlon course-lengths are offered.

In conjunction with the biking road course, there will be a series of road closures on Sunday morning. Please be aware that the following road will be closed, or partially closed as noted, between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM:
•Rakow Road: Pyott Road to Pingree Road
•S. Main Street: Virginia Road to Liberty Road
•Virginia Road: S. Main Street to Pingree Road
•Pingree Road: Rakow Road to Virginia Road
•Pingree Road: Rakow Road to US 14 (southbound traffic will be closed)
•US 14: One eastbound lane will be closed
