Sheriff McDonnell and Temple Captain Jacob attended Special Olympics Summer games at Cal State Long Beach #LASD 
Sheriff Jim McDonnell and Temple Station Captain Coronne Jacob attended the Opening Ceremony for the Special Olympics Summer Games on Saturday, June 13th, at California State University, Long Beach. They, along with numerous other law enforcement personnel, provided "high 5's" to show their support and encourage the athletes as they entered the stadium.
Temple Sheriff's Station and Temple City will be taking part in the Special Olympics World Summer Games Law Enforcement Torch Run on July 19, at 3pm, at Temple City Park. Come join the fun!
The World Games will be held in Los Angeles July 25-Aug 2, 2015, and will be attended by 7,000 athletes representing 177 countries. Visit LA2015.org for more details.
