All fireworks are illegal until July 4th. Report illegal firework activity. Spread the word 
The City of Gardena will not tolerate the use of illegal fireworks.
If the device you possess or are thinking of lighting on July 4th does not have a State of California Registered Seal, it is illegal.
If you take the chance of selling, distributing or igniting an illegal firework this season, you risk the chance of being cited and/or arrested.
A special task force will be out this year taking a zero tolerance approach to all enforcement.
In addition to court fines and booking fees, the City of Gardena will seek financial restitution from all violators that are cited or arrested.

“Safe and Sane” fireworks can only be SOLD on June 28 from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm and from June 29 to July 4th between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:00 pm, per Gardena Municipal Code. They can only be DISCHARGED on July 4th from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. All other fireworks are ALWAYS ILLEGAL.
