York County has issued an advisory to avoid fishing, swimming and boating in the Conewago Creek including the areas within Newberry Township and York Haven Boro due to the potential of chemicals from the recent fire in Adams County being present in the creek. Information will be updated when it is received by the police department and/or Newberry Regional EMA.
