Advisory

4th of July Hilltop Closure 2015

The Signal Hill Police Department would like to inform the public that the Hilltop area of Signal Hill will be closed to all non-residential vehicular traffic on the 4th of July holiday, beginning at 6PM.  Because hilltop space is limited, residents planning to have parties need to inform their guests to arrive early in order to obtain a parking space.  Signs will be posted in areas that will be closed, and parking violations will be enforced.

The Signal Hill Police Department would like to remind everyone that possession, sale, or the discharge of any type of fireworks, including "Safe and Sane" fireworks, are prohibited within the City of Signal Hill and violations will be enforced.  The Signal Hill Police Department is committed to providing a safe atmosphere for the residents and visitors alike on July 4th.

Hilltop residents planning to have a party on the 4th of July should contact Sergeant R. Cravens at [email protected] or Senior Officer A. Gabaldon at [email protected] for information regarding hilltop access for their guests.  General questions can also be answered by calling (562) 989-7200.
