City of Sausalito Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Awareness Events on June 13, 2015. 
The City of Sausalito’s Disaster Preparedness Committee will be hosting a series of Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness meetings on Saturday, June 13, 2015. These gatherings are being hosted in conjunction with the Sausalito Police Department, Southern Marin Fire Protection District, the Sausalito Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS), and the Southern Marin Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT).
These neighborhood gatherings will occur at the following locations:
South View Park (Fourth St and North St) 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
Cloudview Park (51 Cloudview Rd) 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
MLK Field (100 Ebbtide – Tennis Courts) 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM
Residents are asked to attend the meeting closest to their home.
The goal of these Disaster Preparedness Neighborhood gatherings is to educate the public on the importance of preparing themselves and their neighbors to respond to disasters and emergencies. Residents will learn that by working together they can enhance their safety and ability to prepare for and recover from earthquakes, fires, landslides, and other types of disasters.
Educational material will be made available to all participants.
