Strong thunderstorm advisory in effect for Hardee County until further notice. 
National Weather Service has issued a strong thunderstorm advisory for Hardee County.
Winds in excess of 30 MPH and pea size hail is possible with storm. Locations impacted include: Ona to Sweetwater areas in Zolfo Springs and Limestone area. There is also a strong line of thunderstorms in the northwestern part of the county moving southeast from these area.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may cause localized flooding. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms and can strike 16 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle
