A low pressure system over the eastern pacific will continue to approach the area through this evening. As this system moves towards the region...it will entrain moisture from the remnants of hurricane Blanca, bringing the threat of additional precipitation to the area.

Showers will continue especially over Ventura, Santa Barbara, and
San Luis Obispo counties through this evening. In addition there is a slight chance of thunderstorms as atmospheric instability increases.

Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of producing heavy rain...gusty winds and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning. Minor street flooding will also be possible with any heavy rain.
