Hit and run accident in Cass County Mi 
Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr reports his office is investigating a Hit and Run crash which occurred on US 12 near Beebe Rd, Milton Twp, Cass County, Michigan on 6/9/2015 at around 2:50 pm.
A deputy from Cass County responded and contacted the driver, DANIEL PAUL STERK, 32 yrs of MANISTEE MI and his passenger ROBERT CHARLES TOWNS, 60 yrs old of LUDINGTON, MI. STERK and TOWNS were eastbound on US 12 between Beebe Rd and Brush Rd in Milton Township of Cass County. STERK and TOWNS report that a silver Ford passenger car was traveling westbound and crossed the center line striking their vehicle. This silver Ford then continued west on US 12 without stopping. STERK's vehicle was struck by the Ford's driver side mirror, breaking part of it off.
Neither STERK or TOWNS was injured in the crash. The other driver is suspected to have been distracted at the time of the incident. Cass County Sheriffs Office is asking anyone with information on this crash to please contact them at 269-445-2481 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-342-STOP.
This crash remains under investigation at this time.
