Beginning at around 3:00 this morning, San Luis Obispo Police Officers began responding to numerous vandalism calls. All of the locations had broken windows and at several locations, metal ball-bearing type projectiles were recovered (pictured below). These projectiles are commonly used by sling-shots or other similar type launcher. Some of these windows are quite expensive. The window at the Apple Store alone was valued at $20,000.
The Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects. If anyone has information on these crimes they are encouraged to contact the San Luis Obispo Police Department at (805) 781-7317.
