Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who was discovered on the morning of June 6, 2015 beneath a bridge in Cloverdale.
The deceased is identified as Angelica Contreras, a 16 year old girl from Cloverdale. Her family has been informed of her death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office has performed an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death. Preliminary results of the autopsy will not be released until the report is finalized.
The California Highway Patrol is the lead agency in this case. They are conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the events that lead to her death.
