Vigo County—This afternoon at 3:09, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers from the Putnamville Post arrived at 3320 East Park Avenue to investigate community tips related to possible methamphetamine activity. During a search of the residence and outbuildings, troopers located several items associated with the production of methamphetamine, several weapons including an AK-47 assault rifle, 9mm handgun, and .40 caliber handgun, and approximately one gram of finished methamphetamine.
Arrested: Karen Hayes, age 56, of Terre Haute, IN.
Arrested: Crafton Bealmear, age 50, of Terre Haute, IN.
Felony charges for both were: Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors, and Illegal Dumping of Controlled Substance.
