Larceny investigation of tires and rims at the Route 9 BMW Dealership: Contact the police department if you have additional information 
The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department reports conducting an investigation regarding a larceny at a local car dealership. On June 8, 2015, at approximately 12:42 a.m. patrol units responded to the Luxury Vehicles of the Hudson Valley, a BMW dealership, located at 2068 South Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Upon arrival, patrol units observed a subject attempting to steal rims and tires from a vehicle. Upon seeing the officers, the subject attempted to flee the area and was apprehended after a short pursuit. A Town of Poughkeepsie K9 Unit was dispatched to assist units at the scene. The value of the rims and tires was approximately $5280.00.
