Investigators from the Poway Sheriff's Station and Ramona Sheriff's Substation want your help in identifying and locating two unknown suspects wanted in a series of vehicle burglaries.
A photo of the car the suspects used in the crimes is included in this bulletin.
Since May 10, 2015, there have been seven burglaries within the City of Poway that have targeted vehicles associated with landscapers. All of the burglaries have taken place in apartment complexes.
The stolen items have been landscaping equipment such as leaf blowers and trimmers.
A witness observed the latest burglary, which took place on Monday, May 18th at around 1:00 a.m.
The witness saw a man in his mid-20s wearing a hoodie take tools from the victim’s truck. The suspect loaded the stolen items into a silver or gray two-door sedan.
The vehicle was driven by an unknown heavy set woman, also believed to be in her mid-20s.
On May 25, 2015, there was a similar incident in Ramona with the suspects matching the same description as the May 18th vehicle burglary in Poway.
The suspects are described as a man in his mid-20s and a heavy-set woman in her mid-20s. The race of both suspects is not known.
They were seen driving a 2001 silver or gray Honda two-door sedan with California plates: 4NOG855. The vehicle was recently sold and there is no updated owner information available.
Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed any of the incidents to call the Poway Sheriff's Station at (858) 513-2800.
Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspects can also call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
