Three Year Old Struck by Vehicle 
On May 29th at approximately 4:44p Evansville Police Department Patrol Officers responded to the 900 block of E. Walnut Street in reference to a child being hit by a car.
The officers upon arrival found out that a three year old male child had ran out in front of heavy traffic and was struck by a westbound vehicle. The child had head injuries and was taken to Deaconess. His condition is unknown at this time.
An accident reconstruction, detectives and crime also responded to the accident scene. The investigation of the accident is continuing.
