Road Closures in Sachse 
Consider seeking alternate routes.
As of 6:30 pm two different roadways are still closed due to water over the roadway and or damage to the road way. Miles Road/ Pleasant Valley Road North of the George Bush Tollway into Garland remains closed. The water has mostly receded, but the roadway has sustained serious damage making the roadway mostly impassable. The City of Garland will be evaluating if the roadway is safe for travel. There is no time frame at this time.
Sachse Road at Country Club into Wylie remains closed due to water over the road. Water is receding and will likely be opened before 10:00 pm tonight, pending any additional rainfall.
As always avoid areas of high water and do not drive into areas where water is covering the roadway. Be Safe!!
