On Thursday, May 28th, at approximately 11:18am, North Brunswick Police patrol Officers were dispatched to a Carlisle Road address for an activated burglar alarm. As the first area Officer arrived, he observed a male exiting from the rear of the residence. After a brief struggle, the Officer immediately placed the burglar under arrest without further incident, recovering proceeds of the burglary from him. Detectives responded as well to process the scene, recovering additional evidence that was left behind.
Arrested was Mr. Vernon Kinsey, a 57 year old Township resident with an extensive record. He has been charged accordingly, and turned over to the Middlesex County Department of Corrections pending bail.
