Death investigation following an accident at the Victorville Fairgrounds

LOCATION: Victorville Fairgrounds, 14800 Seventh Street, Victorville
VICTIM: Sabrina Gordon, 31, Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On May 28, 2015 at 8:14 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a 911 call for a female that had fallen from the Free Drop ride at the San Bernardino County Fair in Victorville. Sabrina Gordon, a 31 year old resident of Hesperia, had been on the middle platform of the Free Drop attraction when she fell to the ground. Gordon was flown by air ambulance to a county hospital where she was pronounced dead from her injuries on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12:20 a.m.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
