Unknown suspect entered the residence by forcing open a side door to the garage and stole cash, jewelry, and electronics.

Residential Burglary – 900 Blk. Leighton
Time: 0800 - 1645
Unknown suspect entered the residence by forcing open a locked door to the garage and stole cash and jewelry.

Residential Burglary – 800 Blk. Lakehaven
Time: 0845 – 1200
Unknown suspect entered the residence by forcing entry through a rear window and stole electronics and jewelry.

Thursday May 21

Mutual Aid – 1800 Blk. Gillian, San Jose
Time: 0131
San Jose PD requested the assistance of a DPS K9 to search for armed robbery suspects. The DPS K9 team assisted in conducting yard-to-yard searches, and the suspects were eventually located and arrested.

Laundry Room Thefts – 300 and 400 Blks. Acalanes
During the past two weeks, there has been a series of thefts in the Acalanes area. Unknown suspect is breaking into the laundry machines and stealing cash.

Residential Burglary – 1500 Blk. Quail
Time: 1030 – 1115
Unknown suspect entered the residence by removing the screen from an open dining room window and stole cash and jewelry.

Friday May 22

Robbery – 576 E. El Camino
Time: 2039
An unknown suspect entered the CVS Store and produced a demand note indicating he had a bomb. The suspect fled with prescription medication.

Sunday May 24

Attempted Robbery – 700 Blk. E. El Camino
Time: 1908
The suspect approached the victim who was walking in the area and attempted to snatch a gold chain from the victim’s neck but was unsuccessful. As the suspect was fleeing the scene on foot, he was located by officers arriving in the area. A foot chase ensued and the suspect was captured a short time later. The suspect was arrested a booked into County Jail for the attempted robbery, resisting arrest, and probation violation.
