On May 25, 2015, at approximately 2329 hours, Turlock Police responded to the intersection of Starr Ave and N. Denair Ave after receiving multiple calls of a shooting that had just occurred. When officers arrived they located a male victim, 38 years old, who had sustained life-threatening gunshot injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

The victim has been identified; however, his name will not be released until notification to the next of kin has been made.

This is an on-going investigation and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Frank Navarro at 209-668-5550 ext. 6619.
