The men and women of the Gardena Police Department would like to take this opportunity to honor those brave members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this great nation and our freedom.

Today, members of our Honor Guard had the privilege of participating in the 30th Annual Memorial Day Observances at Green Hills Memorial Park. Honor Guards from all the different armed services, local police departments and fire departments came and participated in this great event. The event included dignitary speeches, military fly-overs, a parachute team, and a multi-jurisdictional Police Honor Guard which presented a 21 Gun Salute.
