A bear has been roaming the northeast section of town with sightings along the Hawthorne and Wyckoff borders on North Haledon Ave., Glenwood Drive and Lee Drive. Please be alert and aware of your surroundings and take all necessary precautions for children and pets. For those having a bar-b-que, bears are attracted to the odor of food. If a bear is seen, do not approach it, seek shelter until it has moved on.
