Fire Service Day: Street closure 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 158 will be hosting Fire Service Day on 162nd Street today from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is open to the public and there will be several displays, safety demonstrations, and fire/police static displays. Please come by!
Beginning at approximately 9:30 AM, 162nd Street will be closed in both directions between LaSalle Ave and Harvard Blvd. Members of the public can park in the Police Department public lot located on 162nd Street, just east of Western Ave.
NOTE: there will be a planned LACOFD helicopter landing at Denker Elementary School at approximately 9:30 AM. This helicopter will be part of the Fire Service Day displays.
