UPDATE: To vehicle collision on Cedar Boulevard. 
On Friday, May 22, 2015 at approximately 1:44 a.m., Officers of the Newark Police Department responded to a vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Cedar Boulevard and Cedar Court. Upon arrival, Officers located a Honda Sedan that had rolled over on its top and a Pontiac located on the sidewalk a short distance away.
Based on statements gathered at the scene it appeared the driver of the Pontiac walked away from the collision for an unknown reason. Of the three occupants inside of the rolled over Honda, one sustained a minor injury. Due to the amount of debris at the scene of the collision the Newark Police Department Traffic Division was called-out to assume the collision investigation. At the time of this writing, Officers are attempting to locate the driver of the Pontiac.
Cedar Boulevard is expected to be open in both directions by 9:00 a.m. Thank you for your patience.
