Bargersville Man Arrested for Child Pornography and Child Exploitation

Johnson Co.,-Early this afternoon Indiana State Police officers arrested a Bargersville man at his residence for possession of child pornography and child exploitation.An Investigation that began March 3^rd of this year by Indiana State Police Detective Matt Simmons of the Criminal Investigations Division, yielded information that directed him to obtain a search warrant for the residence of Brian Bruhn, 36, 3259 Springs Way Court, Bargersville  IN.

Detective Simmons, along with members of the Bargersville and Franklin Police Departments and ISP Cyber Crime Units executed a search warrant at the residence early this morning and allegedly found over 250 images and videos of child pornography recovered from digital media located at the residence.  Bruhn was taken into custody and preliminarily arrested for one count of possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony and one count of Child Exploitation, Level 5 Felony. He was incarcerated in the Johnson County Jail with a $5,000 surety bond.  The investigation is continuing.
