On February 1, 2015, the Burlington Police Department was dispatched to a residence on North Willard Street for a report of a possible sexual assault involving a male taxi driver and an incapacitated female.
After extensive investigation, The Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations has arrested an UBER Taxi Driver, Omar Nassir (d.o.b 01/01/1992) for sexually assaulting the incapacitated female in the early morning hours of February 1, 2015.
Nassir initially denied to Investigators any sexual contact occurring between the victim and him. During continued conversation, Nassir admitted to digital and penal penetration of the 22 year-old incapacitated female.
Nassir was issued a Flash Citation to appear in Chittenden Superior Court on May 21, 2015, to answer to the charge of Sexual Assault.
The affidavit of probable cause will be on file with the Chittenden Superior Court Criminal Division Court Clerk.
