Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews completed repairs to the broken hydrant valve on Kalia Rd. Crews restored normal water service to the Hale Koa Hotel and the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies on Kalia Rd. at about 8 PM.
Kalia Rd., between Paoa Pl. and Saratoga Rd., remains closed to traffic as Hawaii Gas Company continues to work on their repairs to the damaged gas line. Once the gas line repairs are complete, a BWS contractor will repave the road. Repaving is expected to be completed before tomorrow's rush hour traffic.
