Here’s a look back at the crimes reported in the Newhall area last week.

On Tuesday the 11^th at 2:02 a.m., testing equipment was stolen from an unlocked toolbox in a truck in the 24800 block of Fourl Road.

On Monday the 11^th at 4:00 p.m., three males took property from a business in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue.  The males worked together to distract the owner then fled in a silver “Mercedes”.

On Friday the 15^th at 2:11 p.m., 21 bottles of alcohol were stolen from a business in the 24800 block of Orchard Village.  According to the informant, two suspects loaded the bottles into a shopping cart and fled the location.

There were four arrests in the Newhall area last week.  An adult female was arrested for forging checks, and was later linked to additional crimes.  Two adult males were arrested, one for domestic violence, the other for possession of stolen property.  There was also a 15 year old who was arrested for a narcotic charge.  

Remember to lock your doors and windows, don’t leave packages or valuables in plain view, and be aware of your surroundings.  Be a good neighbor and report suspicious behavior.
