Deputies are searching for an unknown suspect who stole a Case Construction Backhoe from the county area of Hesperia

STOLEN VEHICLE

VEHICLE INFORMATION:
Case Construction 580 Backhoe, unit number TLH3538. Backhoe is yellow and has a silver bucket with teeth. A red, white, and blue, Union Pacific shield is on the engine cover and “Case 580M” on the sides. Vehicle has damage to the right front tire, nearly flat.

Synopsis:
Sometime between May15, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. and May 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., an unknown suspect stole the backhoe out of the county area of Hesperia. The backhoe was parked over the weekend near the railroad crossing on Ranchero Rd, west of Outpost Rd. The backhoe was tracked south along the eastside of the railroad tracks, then east to Adkins Rd/Jenny St. where the tracks were lost. No other evidence was located at the scene.
