GRANT COUNTY, Wash. (19MAY2015) - A Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured this afternoon in a two vehicle collision in south central Grant County.
Around 1 p.m., Deputy Allan Sleeper, 61, was driving as 2013 Dodge Charger patrol car. Ronald A. Davis of Pasco was driving a 2008 Ford pickup. Both vehicles were westbound on State Route 262 East with Davis in the lead. Deputy Sleeper, enroute to a 9-1-1 hangup call in the Mattawa area, attempted to pass Davis on the left.
