SCAM ALERT: Callers falsely claiming to represent Jax Fire Dept soliciting money. 
The Jackson Fire Department has notified police that someone is calling citizens and representing themselves as working with or for the Fire Department. They are soliciting donations for the "Survive Alive House" (fire survival simulation house) the Fire Department is developing. Chief Maxie Stewart wants citizens to know that he has not authorized anyone to act or solicit on behalf of the Jackson Fire Department. These calls are believed to be a scam.
