Keith Alan Moore, age 29, of Santa Barbara, was arrested for the crimes of sodomy with a person under the age of 18 years and oral copulation with a person under the age of 18 years, both felonies. The victim in this case is a juvenile from Santa Barbara.

Recently officers and detectives from the Santa Barbara Police Department initiated a child molestation investigation centered on the suspect in this case, Moore. Investigation revealed that over the course of five months Moore engaged in multiple sexual acts with a juvenile. To protect the victim’s identity additional details are being withheld.

On May 14, 2015 at 7:40 a.m., SBPD Crimes Against Persons detectives served arrest and search warrants at Moore’s residence on the 00 block of Nicholas Lane. Moore was taken into custody and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on the aforementioned charges with a bail amount of $50,000.00.
